Well shiver me timbers! It's Flankie (Gag me with a Spangler) Spangler! What up there, Little Yoda?

Sounds Great Dave!!!! and by the way, for those that may be curious,,,, the gross national product of Sweeden, according to the CIA factbook (yes there is such a thing, and you can get to it online) is $219,000,000,000, where as the annual revenues generated by Wal-mart, according to the online edition of their annual report for 2002, is a mere $26,000,000,000, less than 1/7th the GNP of Sweeden!!!!!

Now Dave, about that Paganpalooza thing, could that be done in conjunction with a Hindu Rib Roast (Middle Tennessee Edition)?????

Everyone: Johnson City Public Library is facing drastic cuts in funding this fiscal go-round. The library has been stagnate in funding for the past 3 or 4 years, so these cuts would have a profound negative impact on library services. Due to a state law called "maintenance of effort," the library would lose access to its online regional catalog system in the event of the cut. It seems the current mayor of Johnson City really has it out for the library. The Johnson City Press is conducting a poll right now about whether the library should sustain deep cuts: the more No votes that it gets the better, so please vote No if you get a chance.

by the way Brooke, does the Florida garage band have a name yet? Do they need suggestions?

I have come to the conclusion that during the 1980’s and 1990’s Quarterbacks was a focal point of UFO activity. Researchers report that one of the most common post abduction effects is that of lost time. During the 1980’s and 1990’s I personally went to Quarterbacks on what seems like 2 or 3 occasions, yet while I recall getting there at 6 or 7pm, I remember deciding that I should leave at 2 or 3am. I am at a loss to recall much of the time I was there, or why I decided to leave, if in fact I decided of my own accord to do so. After much meditation on this, I can only deduce that the lost time effect is in play, leading to my hypothisis of alien abduction. I wonder if anyone else has encountered this. If so, it would be helpful if you would post your recollections, or lack there of, here so that this can be fully explored.

For those that have not heard, Al Franken has a new book due this fall titled something to the effect of: "Lies and the Lying Liars that tell them, a fair and even view of the Right". This Sunday on CSPAN-2 he is scheduled to go a few rounds with Bill O'Reilly. Should be fun!
