dang at least they didnt rape him first

American civilian contractor Nick Berg, of Philadelphia PA, was apparently executed in Iraq by a group claiming to be affiliated with Al Qaeda. He has been missing since April 9th. The video is being shown on the radical Islamic website Muntada al-Ansar and is reported to show top Al Qaeda lieutenant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi carrying out the beheading.

The video showed five men wearing headscarves and black ski masks, standing over a bound man in an orange jumpsuit who identified himself as an American from Philadelphia.

After reading a statement, the men were seen pulling the man to his side and cutting off his head with a large knife. They then held the head out before the camera.

The statement read, "For the mothers and wives of American soldiers, we tell you that we offered the U.S. administration to exchange this hostage with some of the detainees in Abu Ghraib and they refused. So we tell you that the dignity of the Muslim men and women in Abu Ghraib and others is not redeemed except by blood and souls. You will not receive anything from us but coffins after coffins ... slaughtered in this way."

After reading the statement, the masked men pushed Berg to the ground, held him down, and executed him, shouting "Allahu Akbar" over the man's screams. The action took nearly a full minute. The hooded figure used a knife of some sort that had been tucked in his belt, and made many passes with it before the beheading was complete. They then held his head up to the camera.

Berg was 26 years old. His decapitated body was found Saturday in Baghdad.

Where's the liberal outcry over this? There won't be any, they don't care about Americans getting killed, just terrorist getting nude and having underwear on their head.

Those who cry out foul for the US Military for using psychological warfare on the prisoners at Abu Ghraib and Afghanistan. And perhaps using some more heavy handed persuasion to extract information from these
terrorist and their sympathizers. Just don't understand the type of individuals these terrorists are.

It maybe true that a few of the prisoners being held by America aren't directly active in engaging in terrorism etc. But for sure they know more than they want to admit. By refusing to cooperate and share information whenever they witness terrorists planting bombs or shooting at American personnel and their coalition allies.

Their mission, the terrorist is to slaugher as many
Americans and Westerners they can get their hands on.
Today on the news an American taken hostage in Saudi
Arabia was gruesomely beheaded by his extremist captors.
And the dastardly deed posted on the web.

Since the very beginning that American soldiers have engaged in combat in foreign lands etc. It has always
been accepted by those in uniform. That once captured
by the enemy. American soldiers or even civilians are
routinely tortured, mistreated, starved and beaten to near death by the enemy. Yet no one every speaks out against it in a loud voice to stop it. Neither here in America or else where in the world.

So what of it, that a few of suspected terrorist sympathizers get beaten-up or even die during interrogation or captivity etc. If they were free,
do would certainly do much worse to any Westerner.
Or to any non-fanatic muslims who don't follow in
their nefarious path.

Its time we take the gloves off. Alot of people in the general population know who is respinsible for this and even looks to these slimy thugs as heros of some kind. We need to go after these criminals in a complete and agressive manor. If this includes some embarassing questioning and treatment of some citizens with possible knowledge of their whereabouts then so be it. Harassing prisoners is not good but its not beheading either. In closing I would like to say sending you back to Allah would be our pleasure. Dave in Virginia
