Schwarzenegger is of the opinion that democrat legislators and union members are "girlie men." Does that include the union members that kicked his daddies ass back in WWII?? Say, come to think of it, wasnt Ron Reagan a union president at one time? I guess while he was lifting weights to prove his manhood, guys like Kerry and McCain were getting shot at so that useless fucks like him could run down the American way of life. Hey Arnie! If you don't like it here why dont you move your ass back to the Rhineland and make all the german girlie men wear pink triangles while you ship them off to Auschwitz?

It's ok Brook, it is an old SNL skit from back when it was still funny... although Tina Fey is on now and is the only saving grace for the show anymore,,,

So by the power vested in me,, you are forgiven,

Tough Crowd last nite had the "girlie men" comment up for debate. Colin Quinn is a loud, stupid irishman -- but i digress.

Quinn wanted everyone to speak to "what's wrong with this? why shouldn't arnold be able to say what he wants? are you wanting to LIMIT his speech, you politically correct girlie men."

the comedians really didn't have anything FUNNIER to add to the incident itself. but one guy points out that this is no way for a leader to act. which got me thinking: isn't the whole intention of civilization to be, well, CIVIL? maybe there's nothing wrong with him saying this -- in the way there's nothing "wrong" with me shouting mullet in a crowed hair salon -- but it's just not civil. moreover -- me yelling mullet doesn't color our political life. arnold knows damn well what he is doing. he can't fix the budget like he said he would and know he's picking fights. pure and simple.

i hate to agree with rick, but blowing arnold's comment up is giving it too much credence.

Instead of being offended at his irreverence and insensitivity to his RIVALS, folks out on the left coast oughtta be bitching about the following:

Total dollar amount of the 2003-04 budget signed by ex-Gov. Gray Davis: $99.1 billion.

Total amount of Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's first budget after promising to shrink government: $103 billion.

....Number of employees on Gov. Schwarzenegger's staff who make $100,000 or more: 14.

Number of employees on Gov. Davis' staff who made $100,000 or more: 8.

....Schwarzenegger's whereabouts just hours after vowing to stay in Sacramento and fight like a warrior to end the budget stalemate: Beverly Hills fund-raiser.

Amount raised at Beverly Hills fund-raiser by Schwarzenegger, who earlier promised to end fund-raising during budget season: Roughly $400,000.

....Number of the top 100 donations to Schwarzenegger that came from businesses or their executives: 87.

....Number of people at Stockton mall food court who cheered Schwarzenegger's criticism of legislators beholden to special interests: Hundreds.
