Appalachian Community Fund, in Knoxville

I'd like to know more about the ACF, which says it's based in Knoxville. Knoxville's in southern Appalachia. So why does ACF's website talk about being in central Appalachia? Is my geography screwed, or what? Appalachian Community Fund Main Page

i've noticed that Knoxville is geographically challenged. people in nashville think knoxville is East Tennessee. I guess that makes Johnson City western north carolina.

It's all relative.

No really, it's relative,,,, they marry thier cousins there and it fucks up thier ability to look at a map.

It's like when people in Kentucky complain when you ask them to take down the rebel flag over the trailer park. They always say it's part of their heritage. You can't convince them as to which side they were on or that that the Battle Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia never flew over Kentucky. Alas, people are stupid.
